About Me

I grew up attending church and absolutely hated it. I was bullied by the other kids and never felt like I fit in. I became a very depressed and angry person. In my freshman year of high school, my family was involved in The Alpha Course. As part of the course, there is a Holy Spirit weekend retreat and my family made me go with them because I was not allowed to stay home alone. On the second day, there was a time to ask Jesus into your heart and pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I decided to pray because I felt like I had nothing to lose. My life was changed as a result. Not only has my life been changed by The Alpha Course, I have seen the changes it has made in my family and others. This is why I am so passionate about it.

When I was 16, I felt God calling me to ministry. I became a member at a new church and got involved in both attending and leading various bible studies. I taught and lead youth Sunday School and Youth Alpha. I also started a weekly teen LifeJournaling group. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies with a minor in Biblical Studies from Arizona Christian University. In June 2021, I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with my Master of Arts in Theology.

I am a member at Renewal Global Methodist Church in Peoria where I am Lay Leader and I am a candidate for ordination in the Global Methodist Church. I'm currently taking classes at Wesley Biblical Seminary to complete my ordination requirements. In addition, I'm the Ministry Assistant at Desert Palms Presbyterian Church in Sun City West. I have been involved in leading Alpha Courses, women’s bible studies, and LifeJournaling groups. 

My heart is to help people encounter Jesus Christ and grow in an authentic, transforming relationship with Him. I believe life is changed when we walk closely with Christ and learn to live out His love.
